Ayuh, Let's Makan!: Zawara Coffee at Bukit Jelutong

Greetings.

In my previous post on Mozer's, i mentioned about Zawara Coffee & today I'm going to focus on them. I came to know about Zawara Coffee from my friend, Huda who is also reviewing food places via her instagram. Do check on her #hudamakan for places she visited. Started in Bangi, Zawara Coffee opened 2 new branches at Bukit Jelutong & Danau Kota. I accidentally noticed Zawara Coffee in Bukit Jelutong while on my way back home driving from Mozer's & finally got the chance to try it.

Zawara Coffee added to the ever growing list of modern cafes in Klang Valley. Their focus majorly on western food & desserts. The cafe design is quite interesting as well. Here, the food are served in carded container easy for take away purpose.

Like all modern cafe, cakes & desserts are must for people nowadays. They have both signature desserts as well as familiar cakes.

The menu

I was really excited when my eyes caught the sight of deep dish pizza on the menu. It was a rare dish here in malaysia. Unfortunately on that day, they didn't have deep dish pizza. So we had Buffalo Chicken Wings, Clam Chowder & Cheese Meltz Burger.

They even included a plastic glove.

I'm not a fan of chicken wings. But here, they served good buffalo wings. The spices was well infused in the fried wings with a little bit of spiciness. The chicken meat was tender & well cooked. They managed to balance the sour taste in these wings.

The clam chowder was quite ok. Loaded with clams inside that almost every scoop you will find one or two in your spoon. The soup wasn't too watery yet not too thick. Maybe need a bit tweek on the taste though. The winning point of this dish was the bread. It was really good. Perfectly knead to soft perfection, filled with parmesan herbs flavor, it was really good. Best thing, the bread prepared upon order so you will receive fresh warm bread.

Finally their signature, Cheese Meltz Burger. Now, i have a mixed feeling about this burger. This burger certainly win in terms of gimmicks. The cheese was loaded inside the patty. Not like the cheese sausage but we're talking about hot melted cheese oozing out like cream puff filling that harden once exposed. The bread was really nice as well. Unfortunately, the patty lacked the taste & seasoning to match the gimmick. Patty wasn't that tender, seasoned & quite dry as well.
