Anyone have a memory of previous Jaya Shopping mall opposite of PJ Digital Mall? After being abandon for awhile, it was tore down to make way for a new look Jaya Shopping Center. Thus allowing for new & familiar restaurants & cafes to show up. A friend of mine opened a shop in that mall so sometimes i went there to visit him as well as buying something from him. lol.
While i was there i noticed a cafe that caught my attention. Located opposite Starbucks with business nature almost similar, this cafe stands tall. The name of this cafe is Caffe Bene. There somewhat a noticeable Korean influence in this cafe given that Korea also undergoing a cafe culture wave. The interior resembles normal coffee cafe with some nice settings.
Not much on the menu especially heavy food so i guess this place is suitable for afternoon tea or tea break time. They have waffles & thick honey bread. A model of food served are on the counter for display purposes so that customer have an idea what they are having.

Thick honey bread really caught my eyes though i still think it was overpriced. We had Garlic & Cheese bread & Choco Nuts Waffle.
The bread was really nice and soft. It was really thick. Melted layer of cheese & garlic on the top then drizzled with cheese sauce.

The waffle wasn't bad either. Loaded with whipped cream on top with drizzle of chocolate & caramel sauce. The base waffle filled with nuts. Crunchy on the inside & fluffy inside. My kind of waffle.

Certainly the food here is decent but i still think it might be a bit overpriced. The bread is really recommended.
