Thyme Out at SS15

Hola folks. 

Previously, I've shared 2 posts on Thyme Out food truck here and here. The reason I make this post today is because there is a new update on Thyme Out. Recently they've upgraded their business from food truck to physical shop, right in the heart of SS15. So for taco lovers, you can easily find this shop in SS15 rather than waiting for them to update their location via social media. For folks outside Subang Jaya, their truck still active & currently in TTDI. 

Their menu hasn't change much maybe some new addition like churros bomb & kumara fries. The rest remains the same from the day we first found them. The drinks menu also have been upgraded. You can even have it like fajita.

Their kitchen is on the entrance where you will make your order to the cashier. You can watch them preparing your order if you want to.

My usual order is always their lamb taco. But this time around, with a bit of crowd, we added fish taco, lamb quesadillas, lamb burrito, cheese kumara fries & churros. First off, fish taco. I never had fish taco before but since my mom and sis want to try that so we ordered fish taco. The fish used was similar to fish finger with breaded crust to give it extra crunchy texture to the taco since the taco use soft tortilla bread. They used the same tomato based sauce but different cheese from what i had earlier. Last time, they used cheddar cheese.

We had lamb taco as well. Not very much different except from the cheese & less sauce this time. Last time the sauce was overflowing but this time it was less. But the taco was still mouthful. The lamb well marinade & cooked as before.

We never tried their quesadillas before. And we got the chance to try it now. The filling used was similar to the taco but the cheese was substituted with mozzarella cheese & then drizzled with cheese sauce on top.

I have always wanted to try Burrito but always end up eating something else. The burrito, like taco, uses the same filling with mozzarella cheese but without any rice which was a bit weird. Kinda like a wrap when burrito missing the rice. But it was still nice.

Fries. We all loved fries. It's kind of a guilty pressure food. Here, they serves 2 types of fries. Normal & Kumara fries. Kumara fries is fries made from sweet potato instead of normal potato. The sweet potatoes goes perfectly well with the cheese sauce.

Finally, the churros. Like i mention before, almost everywhere have this dessert. They've made a near perfect churros here. No excessive oil & they didn't put any sugar on it. So it won't be overly sweet when dipped into the Nutella dip given. The crust was crunchy with soft inside. The cinnamon flavor well infused in these churros.
