3 Bags Full at Kota Damansara

I first came to know Kota Damansara because of my good friend, Reza is living there & i play futsal there every week when I'm around. But, that's not only what Kota Damansara nowadays have to offer. A lot of exciting restaurants & cafes ranging from mamak to coffee place waiting for hungry people like me.

I heard about 3 bags full from internet source & it served waffles! Oh, i just love waffles same as much i love pancakes. So, with my mom & sister, we went to this place. Mind you, it's pretty hectic nowadays in this area. Parking during working hours & peak hours just hard to come by. Best bet is to park at the central park or sunway Giza as both buildings near to 3 bags full as it is located on one of the busiest street in Kota Damansara unfortunately.

Best to visit to this cafe around 11am as they started serve everything early. The foods here are quite unique with combination of nice ingredients.

The menu

They're offering food like waffles, sandwich, soup, pasta (only aglio olio) & dessert. Loads of house special to be tried here depends on your tastebuds. So we ordered Buffalo Cheese Sandwich & Norwegian Benedict from their house special, Hampshire waffle, & Sizzling Brownies. Yes, folks. You heard it right.

The Buffalo Cheese Sandwich was decent. Loaded with greenies like rocket & lettuce with drizzle of balsamic vinegar, poached egg, slice of turkey ham & a spread of blueberry mascarpone. The ingredients combined well as none of the element overpowering each other. The balsamic provide the sour element (some may not like it) & blueberry mascarpone gives the hint of sweetness.

Next is the Norwegian Benedict. Of course, when word norway surfaced, automatically people will think of salmon. Yes, it is an Egg benedict with smoked salmon however with a twist. Instead of drizzled with normal hollandaise sauce, this dish was topped with wildberry hollandaise sauce resting on a bed of poached eggs, leafy greens, slice of turkey ham, slice of smoked salmon & charcoal muffin. Accompanied by 2 sticks of asparagus tempura as well. It was a pleasant dish with all the elements combined. I like the wildberry hollandaise sauce, very surprisingly good.

The waffle. How can we leave this place before eating the waffles. They offered 5 types of waffles & 4 of them are sweet ones. I prefer sweet waffle but i like savory one as well. We tried the hampshire waffle. The waffle topped with combination of coffee gelato, blueberry mascarpone, berry compote, granola & almond flakes. The waffle was decent. Soft, crunchy yet a bit chewy but still OK. Berry compote goes well with blueberry mascarpone. A good dish indeed.

Finally, the dessert. Last time we had a sizzling dessert it was in Swensen. This is one of the reason why we really eager to eat here. The brownies was fantastic. Soft & moist with some walnut bits then drenched with caramel sauce on a hot pan. Topped with a scoop of chocolate gelato. A must try. Save some space for it!

Here is a video for you guys. Sorry for the quality.

Overall, the food here is quite pleasing. Price wise it is the standard price for food of the same type. Definitely gonna pay a visit again.
