We, Malaysian always have that spot for satay. It's hard to resist them especially when the meat was perfectly grilled. I was introduced to this place by my friend back in 2011 when we stop by to buy some satay for a pot luck party. From then, everytime i went to kajang, i will definitely eat the satay here. Kajang was well known for their satay thanks to the boom popularity of Sate Kajang Haji Samuri. It was good back then but nowadays, other names started to rise.
Willy satay is one of the name often mentioned by satay lover. Located at Ramal Food Junction, this place never short of satay lovers queuing for the satay. Best to come during weekdays for early dinner or right after maghrib prayer to avoid long waiting time. The queue would be massive but Willy satay workers already prepared for large orders by expanding their grill place.
The queue at 630 pm. It could've been longer.
At this place, they offered Chicken, Beef, Lamb, Beef belly satay. Apparently lamb was sold out that day so we decided to go for the basic chicken & beef. Chicken satay was excellent. Meat grilled to perfection. Tender & succulent, moist with the marinade penetrated inside the meat. As for the beef, it was soft & not rubbery chewy. Marinade well & grilled to perfection. Worth every penny. Both meat was gemok-gemok as well. The sauce was good as well but the sambal might be a bit hot for some. On a side note, they're very generous as well. We ordered 8 sticks of chicken satay but they gave us 8+1 mini satay. Thanks guys!
Chicken & Beef satay (RM 0.90 per stick)
There are other places offered good satay as well. But i would really recommend this place for satay lovers
