During my childhood days in 90s, my dad would take us out for dinner every month at section 14 PJ. There was a shopping mall in front of the now digital mall called Jaya shopping mall. We usually have our dinner there. But then, the mall was left rotten until it was finally demolished. Fast forward till last year, a new mall arises from the ashes of the old mall. The same name with a different look to add to another collection malls in section 14. There are quite a number of new cafes as well besides some household names like Chili's, Serai & Starbucks.
I often went there to check out my buddy Raz own shop. Last weekend, I went to pay Raz a visit then with Darren & B.K, we went to a new place recommended by Raz for dinner. The 5th floor still waiting for cinema to open therefore it was the least explored floor of the mall. There's a cafe waiting to be explore called Good Food & Co. The name surely promising. The menu was simple; offering dish mostly western but there are special promotion as well. I decided to go for The Good Dog. Surprisingly, Darren & B.K ordered the same thing as well.
The menu
The Good Dog is a hot dog with beef & lamb sausage together in one bread. The sausage was nice and have a homemade feel with chili & cumin inside it then topped with sweet sauce with caramelized onions. The bread was your normal french baguette type; soft inside with hard crusted outside.
The Good Dog (RM 18)
The good dog was certainly decent. Raz recommended the sandwiches so that will be up for my next visit.
