I bet everyone knows & have eaten Magnum Ice cream even though only once. This famous ice cream have its own cafe now called Magnum Cafe opened at Midvalley & IOI City Mall. If you're wondering if this cafe only served magnum ice cream, then you're half right. This cafe served customized magnum ice cream as well as some savory dishes like steak & pasta. So magnum lovers, you can customized your own ice cream here. You can choose the base, the coating, the condiments & the drizzle on the spot to achieve your wildest magnum dream! Well, i'm exaggerating a bit but yeah, it's something like that.
After our movie session, me & my mate went to this place for lunch. If you spot a long queue in front of the entrance, fear not my friends. There are 2 entrances. One specially for patrons who wanted just the ice cream, another one for dine in customers. The menu separated into 2 sections; one for signature desserts & one for hot savory food. After browsing the menu, we decided to try their Salted egg spaghetti & hot cookies.
I've heard from a friend, the hot food here just average but i found their Salted Egg Spaghetti quite pleasing. Aglio Olio pasta with a touch of salted egg topped with spicy chicken pieces. The salted egg combined well with fried garlic to make this dish quite pleasing with a hint of cili padi!

Next, the signature dessert. We ordered the one that less appealing which was Hot cookie. A soft hot baked choc chip cookie topped with 2 vanilla magnum ice cream with a dark choc coating. The cookie was nice with a cake like texture. The portion was huge so sharing is recommended.

The cafe was certainly promising especially the desserts selection. Different kind of desserts compared to other places. Chocolate lovers, you gonna love this.
