Here's another update on another trip to yet another food truck in SS15. Well actually this food truck based in SS15 but finally i managed to try the food at food hunter festival recently.
Little Fat Duck is not the only Food Truck in SS15 serving pasta. Just few minutes walk from them, behind maybank, there is a another food truck serving pasta called La Famiglia. Inspired by italian mafia theme, the truck clad in black with some mafia-ish design. Most nights they will be in SS15 unless stated otherwise. You can follow them on their facebook page for updates.
Their menu so far only serve pasta with only 2 sides. So it is pasta galore here at La Famiglia.
The menu
Since I'm not a crustacean eater, i decided to order Genovese Carbonara. Here they use creamy garlic sauce instead of normal carbonara sauce. Topped with diced chicken sausage, mushrooms & chili flakes. The sauce was Ok-lah. The presence of garlic was there but somehow lack some kick. The sauce had a bit of sweetness as well which different from your usual carbonara. Portion was decent for a RM 6.50 pasta.

It wasn't a memorable first time for me but my brother said their aglio olio was good. Will try those in the future. Another option for fair price meal here in SS15.
