Killer Gourmet Burgers at Midvalley

Good day folks.

There was one time when suddenly grilled gourmet burgers wave suddenly hit Klang Valley like a tsunami & sends everyone into burger frenzy. Before this phenomena, there are only 3 types of burgers; burgers from stall, fast food burgers or gourmet burgers from famous (more expensive) restaurants. The wave however squeeze itself between those categories & put itself between fast food & gourmet burgers. More juicy, flexible, & cheaper than those in Chili's & TGI but better taste than fast food, soon it found way into the heart or stomach of food lovers especially me.

But like all wave, it will eventually subside & storm has finally calm down. Some of restaurants dedicated selling these burgers are no longer seen except few of the famous names like Kaw kaw burger. But fear not, there are still plenty of these burgers around. One of them is Killer Gourmet Burgers or KGB (not the russian secret intelligence). There is one branch open in Bangsar but i haven't manage to find time to try them until i stumbled upon their branch in Midvalley. I heard reviews about them so i decided to give them a try.

The bar

It's just a small shop that any passer by can easily missed but quite a lot of people eat here so it must be good business. The menu, nothing surprising, offers mostly burgers, fries & shakes.

The menu

Burgers offered are divided into 5 categories with 2 of them are beef, another 2 are chicken & a vegetarian. A friend of mine hailed from Texas once said, burgers are only made with beef or pork. Chicken, fish, lamb are not burgers. lol. We ordered Sacre Bleu! and The Shack. Take it away, honey!

As per the name hinted, Sarce Bleu contained blue cheese. Some might hate it, some might love it. I definitely love it. The patty was thick & nicely seasoned. The blue cheese however melted & turned into liquid due to the patty temperature. But it was still good, giving extra taste to the patty.

Sacre Bleu!

If you're really don't know what to order here & want to be safe, The Shack is just perfect for you. Topped with sharp cheddar & bacon bits, it was really nice. Some of you might find it a bit salty with these combination though.

The Shack

There you have it folks. Another burger option in Midvalley aside from McD & Carl's Jr. Price are almost similar to Carl's Jr minus the fast food feel to it.
